 | wtt (1) 09/04/2007 | George Will likes to embark on remarkably circuitous paths of high-brow vocabulary, coupled with confusing conclusions. When I read George Will's Op-Ed pieces, it reminds me of an arrogant professor, Its like he's been swallowed up by his own dictionary. In my opinion, intelligence is measured by making clear what is complex, not the other way around. Albert Einstein wrote in very simple terms- because he knew what he was talking about. He didn't need to hide behind vocabulary to impress anybody.

 | EschewObfuscation (61) 12/15/2005 | Absolutely brilliant mind. His essays are not for a quick read, they are to be read slowly and digested. His wordsmithing slows you down. Oddly, I find myself laughing at Will's column more than any other writer except Ann Coulter.
He also has written a number of books on baseball, his true passion. I think he's actually a Cubs fan, not that there's anything wrong with that . . .
