One of the very best. Strives to be objective and to present in-depth analyses of current news and issues of importance. Won't win any awards for being the most animated and lively guy, but I far prefer that to a talking head who spouts fluff.

Lehrer is, without a doubt, the only truly objective journalist left on television. Having written and produced at PBS, NBC and CNN and currently teaching Critical Thinking, I can say it will be a sad day when he joins McNeil in the newsroom in the sky.

The best on television, which isn't saying much. I wish they would interview somebody besides crusty old think tank hacks, but at least they provide some reflective balance.
