Don't know how many feminists actually burned their bras, and personally, I think anti-feminist women insult men much more often than feminist women. But that's just my experience.
Roosevelt was a dedicated woman and did a lot of good from her position. She would be considered too active by today's standards of "first ladies."

 | Underspin (24) 12/09/2005 | Roosevelt was a feminist when it actually meant something and mattered, yet who didn't burn bras, insult men or leave her husband. In fact, she not only stood by him when he developed polio, some historians claim there is significant evidence that she essentially ran the White House during those tremendously difficult years. A global humanitarian and role model for women of any era.
