I took wellbutrin and it made me have vertigo and the room spun. It was not a horribly experiance but it was really disturbing and I couldn't wait to get off of it.

I've been on Wellbutrin for a few years now after trying Paxil, Lexapro and Effexor. Wellbutrin has given me no negative side effects. When I first began taking it I had mild headaches for about 2 weeks, but that was it. Wellbutrin makes me feel like a normal person. I still have emotions, even sometimes feel sad, but everyone does. The difference is my sadness doesn't last for weeks or months anymore. I don't have the numb "no care in the world" feeling that I had with Paxil or the crazy-feeling, jaw-clenching, cold sweats that I had with Effexor. Wellbutrin has also produced no negative sexual side effects, which for me is very important. In fact, I think it increased my sexual desire. I also experienced mild weight loss instead of weight gain. My only complaint is that although I do not feel low very often, I rarely ever feel up. I can't say I'm happy, only content, which I suppose is better than being depressed.

I take this along with Lexapro. It works pretty good.
