Anything I wanted? I'd say my monster computer that one friend described the concept of as being on the bleeding edge, not cutting, bleeding.

I worked as a finish carpenter for a while with my grandfather. It is very neat watching the process of a house being put together!

Building what I want would be heaven on earth for me. If I hadn't been such a total failure in maths I'd have become an architect. One of my favorite thought games is thinking up town-building projects. I'm also fond of designing arches and towers.

My more altruistic favorite idea is building a kind of education village and other surroundings that fit the wants of people according to their ages.

My more selfish favorite idea is to build a James K. Polk memorial, and it would be a sort of maze where you cannot get lost - with four or five towers there and arches galore.

I'd like to, just once, build a model that looked like it's sippose to when it's finished. Something's always out of place on mine.

I'd probably build my dream house, granted it would probably be HUGE and very costly.

I want to build my dream ranch house, complete with the huge library my husband wants. It would be much more unselfish of me to build something to help the world, but to me this is more realistic.

Firstly I'll build some houses for the homeless - theres too many homeless people on the streets begging - and if they didn't want their own home then I'd build them at least a shelter and train them to have a few job skills. Secondly I'd build a centre for some of the teenagers who seem to be hanging around in the Streets. At least this would get them off the streets and they would be able to do something productive that would keep them away from trouble.

I'd love to build my own movie theater. That'd be awesome. I wouldn't have to pay to go see a movie. I could go anytime I wanted, and wouldn't have to wait in line.

There are a million of ideas that float in my head for this one (I particularly like aDios's idea!). Schools, hospitals, libraries. . . But that's all stuff that I'd want when things are already all well and good. After seeing tsunamis, hurricanes and earthquakes take the homes and loved ones of so many people, though, all in under a year's time, what I'd want to do now, if I could, would be to build their homes again.

I would build a replica of the Collinwood mansion - based on the set seen on the old Dark Shadows show. I have always been fascinated with that house! And, how cool would it be to have secret doors in the paneling?! Of course, beyond the foyer, drawing room, and a few other sets I'd have to wing it - but, with some advice from Dan Curtis Productions, I'm sure I could work around it.

I would build an army of indestrucible, terrorist-seeking droids and unleash them in the middle east. Our boys would be home for Christmas and Osama, et al, would have made their last video tape.

Since the topic says ANYTHING I wanted, I'd have to go for the Enterprise, myself. ;) Heck, the transporter alone would save me days and days of sitting in the car behind silly mountain drivers with no clue what they're doing. And the holodeck would be kinda fun too.

I'd build self-sufficient homes-from "scrap" materials-that heated and cooled themselves.(This was already done years ago by a man named Reynolds and he has written several books about it-he calls them Earthships). Then I'd build solar or other clean energy powered hovercrafts-these would free us from dependence on terrorist owned, polluting and ever scarcer & more expensive fossil fuels.

Hmm, I'm not an architect or engineer, so I'm not sure this is something that hugely appeals to me, but having my own private shopping mall stocked with free items tailored to my own unique taste might be exciting.
