Maybe, but bear in mind that "change their life" doesn't necessarily mean "for the better."

I have a short list of arseholes whose life I certainly wouldn't mind "changing"

Fact is, only God can give that "gift" and he did, when he sent his son to die on a roman gentile cross for our sins, and rising again the third day, he talks about the best gift you will ever have in Romans 5, but, it take reception from you..

I would give everyone the gift of Oprah's friendship, and then we would all live happily ever after.

After reading these comments, I decided it would be better to give away my choice of a gift to one of these other reviewers. They are all so thoughtful.

If we're talking in non-physical way, then is there a better gift than the attention that another person needs, be it love, friendship, or anything else?

Well, I've already given my husband children....that has changed us forever. They were the greatest gift I can think of at this moment.

This is a good list, many Christians do many things on this list everyday. The gift I would give someone is salvation and the beginning of a relationship with the CHRIST.

There are so many gifts tha tI'd like to give people that are not really material at all. Mostly, I'd like to volunteer some time to help locate missing children. I'd also like to find a cure for AIDS and cancer, because I believe life is the greatest gift you can give someone.

I would no doubt give my children what I know they needed to have a fuller life. My daughter, a more analytical mind, (she struggles in academics, just like I did.. while being a wonderful person to all humans beings)and my son, and brand new pair of eyes, (he has had two surgerys to correct a number of issues and is still not got but about 70% of the vision he should).

If I were rich I would do this quite often. Even without money you can do things to change peoples lives. I have always found it very fullfilling to help others in significant ways whenever I can. What goes around comes around...

We had a family doctor who delivered my sister for free back in the early 70's because we were poor. . .he 'lost' the bill. . .I'd buy him a set of golf clubs if he were still alive. . .

I'd find a way to get a house for my cousin and her family. After taking damage from the 2004 hurricane season, then her husband being disabled after a severe back injury, and then the death of her mother (my aunt) right before Thanksgiving of '05; she's barely been able to survive. I just think she needs something to go right for a change.

I would give my parents their eldest daughter back (she's been missing since 1977).
