When this franchise moved from St. Louis they should have changed the name to something that makes sense locally, to get the fans in Arizona involved and give them some allegiance to the team. Like how the Houston Oilers changed their name to the Tennessee Titans because there are no oil rigs in Tennessee. Keep the franchise, change the name.

We have a starving market that eagerly awaits something that doesn't suck. Give us a real team!UPDATE: They did a good job impersonating a franchise this past year. I guess we'll see if they can keep it up...

Sorry Arizona you are stuck with the Cardinals and you are going to have to loose them before you can even think of getting another team. That said nobody is going to move with out a new stadium and I have not heard any thing about that happening. It sounds like what the Cardinals need is new ownership. It is amazing what a interested and/or passionate owner can do for a team. Look at the Niners all their problems can really be traced back to the owner.

Here's the problem. Cardinals is a over-used named in all of sports. If they gave them a better name, like the Bats or the Sabers ( I'm just making up names as I go), the franchise would be better. Colors are good, and the uniform change they made was very much needed. But they gotta switch the gray facemask with black. Once they move to the new stadium, everything will get better; they will finally have their own home and won't have to share it with a college team.
