I bought the kitchenaid architect series dishwasher 4 years ago. The pump had t be replaced in the first 6 months. Since then I have had to replace the control panel. Then the water wouldn't drain properly and the final straw was yesterday it flooded my 4 year old kitchen and ruined the new hardwood floors we just installed 6 months ago. It's the worst peich of junk ever. And KitchenAid won't do a thing about it.

i have a kitchenaid architech II. so far it cleans great. I had a whirlpool before which was the worst dishwasher ever. go figure since kithenaid is made by whirlpool. i have since found out that whirlpool makes: whirlpool, kitchenaid, maytag and kenmore pro. at least that is what the sales guy said. if this is not true, i apologize--just passing on what i was told. i'm not going to give a high score at this time since the verdict is still out.
