I have the GE Profile XL model (paid extra for the "upgrade"). After two years...I give up. Soap lid doesn't open up (I open the door after the second cycle for it to open) and will leave residue. It simply does not clean well !! I rinse all my dishes before going in, but I still set aside 2-8 items that need hand washing when unloading. Cleaning silverware is a joke; I carefully put each piece in a slot with none touching, and it still doesn't clean the silverware. I have a glass set aside to soak the dried on pieces and hand wash them. I'm going to bite the bullet and get a Kenmore replacement. They have always worked well for me.

I actually really like this dishwasher, I've had if for 5 years now, no problems. It is very quiet, and cleans the dishes very well

I have had this dishwasher for 5 years and after several repairs, I am now replacing it. This dishwasher is a piece of junk; the worst I have ever had. The wheels have continuely fallen off, the racks do not adjust and are too short, there is no room for larger plates or glasses, the wash cycle is very long and noisey, and the auto reset is a pain!

9/5/07 Do not buy the GE Adora Quiet Wash 3 GHDA980K10WW Ours owned less than 1 year has major design flaw in door and is making us feel sick. The soap dispenser always has soap in it at the end of cycle so we have begun rewashing the dishes a 2nd time without soap (liquid Cascade). Although the soap dispenser clicks to open properly in the cycle the soap dispenser DOES NOT open in normal operation because the top rack is too low holding the dispenser shut - the bottom of the dispenser opens barely a slit. If you have this model measure the distance from the dishwasher floor to bottom of the top rack and the distance of bottom of door to the top of the soap dispenser and you will verify this too! I wonder how many other people are ingesting Cascade soap like we have been! We had the GE tech out and talked to GE customer complaint rep - it's not resolved!!!

We have Triton XL and it is terrible. Many problems over the years. For starters, the detergent cup is located next to the top shelf, so that it never opens fully, and detergent is often left behind. Currently, the detergent cup door is not closing properly. Also, we've had many of the plastic parts inside break and snap off. We've only owned it for 4 years, and will be replacing it soon.

The worst dishwasher I have ever owned. It leaves a film on glasses pots and pans. I rinses my dishes before I load them, the dishwasher doesn't have much to do. I also only use 2 Tablespoons of cascade, I see no reason for all the film. After talking to other people in my beauty shop, I'm not the only person that has this problem with this model. I have not owned this even 2 years and I will be buying a new one this weekend.
