 | abichara (60) 09/07/2004 | Possible Bush win, although having Edwards on the ticket will probably give Kerry and the Dems. a four to five point bounce in the state. Not enough to win however, but it will make it somewhat close.

 | EschewObfuscation (61) 09/07/2004 | No battle here, even with the honorable Gentleman from North Carolina (born in South Carolina) on the ticket! Have these people ever seen John Kerry?

 | LanceRoxas (40) 09/07/2004 | Very much in play now. Textiles have been hurt bad by job loses and I wouldn't be surprised if Bush lost this state. I think the social conservatives will make a strong showing due to the gay marriage issue and tilt this one into Bush's corner.

 | PatDonovan130 (0) 08/14/2004 | Edwards? LoL. There is a reason he chose not to run for re-election very early in the primary season. He is hardly any more popular then John Kerry around here and why some people think just because someone is from the South they can automatically help a ticket down there (Remember Al Gore?)

 | Redoedo (39) 08/13/2004 | Edwards may help soften Bush's lead in North Carolina, but it is unlikely that it will be enough to tip North Carolina to Kerry's side. Edwards won a very close election in 1998, and evidently is not to popular among his constituents. Expect a win for Bush here.

 | BIGBABY (10) 08/08/2004 | John Kerry claims that having Edwards on the ticket will result in North Carolina becoming another battle ground state. Guess again. Edwards approval ratings are at an all time low, Bush won the state easily in 2000, and all polls suggest the same this year. Easy win for Bush.
