Next to the other guys, that geezer McCain looks like George Washington.

Jeb Bush would be alright, but I really want to see Condi Rice be an African-American female republican president!

McCain would be most likely to succeed in bring new levels of personal accountability, fiscal restraint and intelligent decision making to back to the Oval Office.

John McCain. Another Bush? Hell no. Rick Santorum is too far right for me. McCain gets it. I think he would be more of a moderate Republican who is smart enough to work hard in office and respect what the oppostion might have to say.

John McCain, with a good solid VP, because if he survives another 4-8 years in the most stressful job the world has to offer, that would be a miracle.

Well if a gun was put to my head I'd have to say McCain. I would only hope then, my abductor would pull the trigger...

If I had to have one, I suppose it would be McCain.

Rick Santorum in a second!

There are a handful of good conservatives with presidential run potential for '08, but none of these guys are in that category. I'm not at all sure there will BE a conservative choice to make in '08.

Guess I'd have to live with McCain, who contrary to popular belief is no moderate. I'm hoping Santorum doesn't even get re-elected in 06.

I am not totally sure here, but I do not think McCain would qualify as Conservative.
