England, of course. If I wanted to go dingo hunting, I could visit Australia. Canada is too stuffy; however, I could tolerate Montreal.

Canada would be the easy choice for me. If I moved to Winnipeg, I could drive back to my current home in less than 12 hours. If I went to either of the other choices, there would be no regular visits back home.

I'd go to England and I'm not going to say why, but somebody here knows...
James76255 11/24/2008
If I had to move and these were my only options I guess I'd take Canada, preferably around Toronto. Australia would be a cool place to visit, but I think it would be too much of a culture shock for me to want to live there. No baseball for one thing, as far as I know.

I've lived in England, toured Canada, and have never been south of the equator. So, if limited to one of the three, I'll choose Australia (if they'll have me) for the climate (in the north, of course).
MissPackRat4Je sus 11/22/2008
Since it's closest to the United States, Canada would probably be the best bet. Also, Canada is in the continent of North America, so living in Canada would still (in a "kinda-sorta" way) make me an American.

I would pick New Zealand if I had to choose, but since it is not an option Australia.

There are too many dangerous animals in Australia. Canada is too cold, plus Franks would come by and ask me really random and annoying questions like "Can I borrow your abacus?" Other neighbors ask for and never return sensible things like hedgeclippers or lawn mowers but Franks would ask to borrow an abacus...England, because then I could wear a monocle and yell out "Harrumph!" or "Blaughhaughhaugh" for no reason... and act like the old guy in the "She Blinded Me With Science and still be pretty anonymous... Actually, If I had a choice in the matter or ruled the world, I'd float in the ocean on a giant seashell shaped boat with an all- black chick harem, and umm... yes, I do know the meaning of the word whimsy...

England For sure.Canada has stunning scenery, but cold!I've never been to Australia.so I have to go with england.

Considering the high tax rate in Canada and the even higher tax rates in England and Australia, I think I'm in the right place of the 3. Still sucks no matter what. However, Canada is too cold, England rains too much (and still cold), I guess Australia has the best climate.
ILikePie 05/26/2008
No-brainer: the two that aren't England.
irishgit 05/26/2008
Since I already live in Canada, and my Harp ancestors would raise from the dead like a vengeful Michael Collins if I picked England, I'll go with Oz.

I wouldn't want to take up residence in any of these countries, but I wouldn't mind visiting Australia.
BlueOrchid 11/22/2006
England seems more interesting to me but the fact that you don't actually OWN your land is a pain.
abichara 11/18/2006
Australia, no question. Great climate, good economy, laid back attitudes. What more do you want?

Australia. At one point when we were moving from my country, the choice was between America and Australia. America predominated. I love this country.
caphillsea77 01/13/2006
No Brainer here... Australia. I love the fun loving Aussies. It clearly has the best climate. Out the 3 Australia also has the best looking population. Living on a beach in Sydney would be my utopia. Canada is nice but most of it is like America for the most part and it's cold. England is too stuffy and it's weather is dreary.
CanadaSucks 01/05/2006
The best people I have ever met travelling are Aussies, hands-down. I've never been to Australia, but every single Aussie I've ever met (in any country) was the friendliest, smartest, and the best company I've enjoyed. You can talk about sports, current events, work, family, or music while downing a beer after meeting an Australian for 5 minutes. . .I've always wondered how cool it would be to live near people (1) that smart and (2) that upretentious and relaxed. . .

I lean towards Australia primarily because it's the most similiar in spirit to the U.S. and the weather - esp for the coastal regions - is idyllic. In addition, other highlights for me include the Great Barrier Reef, the geographical proximity to both New Zealand and Asia, and last but not least, its long love affair/history with the sport of tennis!

I'll go with Australia. Not that the other two choices are bad, but Australia's distinct biological diversity is fascinating.

England first, Canada a close second. I just like England a lot, even though it has plenty of drawbacks (socialized medicine, driving on the wrong side of the road, accent sometimes tough to understand, to name a few). Overall, however, I like the atmosphere and some of the British eccentricities. Canada is fine (at least they drive on the right side of the road), but why would I move from the US to Canada, given so many similarities? Australia - I'm just too old to move that far away.
Wavebacker 12/21/2005
Oh Canada. Definitely the #1 choice. Australia is TOO far away and England is a whole different culture. Canada is a nice place. Clean, friendly, diverse. Some great cities to choose from : Toronto , Montreal , Vancouver. Drops a Star because of the cold weather.

Since I'm already in Canada, I guess I'd go with Australia.

Canada simply because it's closest to where I live now. And if I live in or near Vancouver, I can still get good Chinese food.
