And I like the way the way they play to the extent that I am willing to overlook those proletariat fans in the Motor City. Flip Saunders was a very smart selection by Joe Dumars. Other teams that Larry Brown has improved and then bailed on have often quickly gone into the dumper. Not this one.
Mario Elie said "Defense wins in the NBA, everytime." Who am I to question his wisdom? Pistons in six over the Spurs.

People who say that the only reason the Pistons won the title is because they met the right team at the wrong time need to be silenced.
They should have repeated, and this year should be their three-peat.
But, nevertheless, a Patriot-like run is not that bad.
Short of dynasty, but not all that bad.
