I lived there for six months. It was one of the best experiences of my life. The people were extremely nice and always willing to sell you something, so long as you are will to pay the price. I did find it funny how a lot of people in America will stop working to take a "smoke break" but in Burkina the Muslims (which is what most of the population is) take a bunch of "prayer breaks" throughout the day...then there is the Repose, which basically means that everyone stops working in the middle of the day. Hard for a whilte American to get use to, but eventually you adjust.
