Between the three i guess by a slight edge Christmas. Although there is a lot of stress involved, and shopping, planning, wrapping and the money we have to save up all year to make it happen. I still like Christmas it is still fun to watch my kids open their presents, and playing the Christmas music, putting the tree up and all the decorations we have bought over the years. and the manger scene handmade by a grandmothers friend over 45 years ago to remember what Christmas is for in the first place. We like to watch holiday movies every year that our kids also enjoy. so even though Christmas can be a heck of a lot of work. in the long run I still enjoy it. Halloween would be a far second since it was fun when I was a kid and when my own children got to go trick or treating but it is no where near the fun day I used to like. we do not pass out candy anymore. and as for Valentine's day,I am with Irish git. it is a rip off day that obligates people especially men to get stuck buying over priced flowers, candy etc. we only buy the damn Valentine candy when is is at least 50 percent off. and not to celebrate Valentines. it disgusts me all those made up "holidays" like Valentines, grandparents day, and a second attempt Sweetest day. come on what a rip off. greedy greedy!

Christmas. Not for religious or political reasons, just because it gives me time off work.

This is easy. Christmas wins in a blowout victory. Celebrating the birth of Jesus (yes, I know he probably was born in the summer, and likely in 4 or 5 B.C., but it's when we celebrate it) is the most important of these by far. In addition, I'm pretty fond of good food, and there's definitely plenty of it available at Christmas. I stopped getting excited about Halloween about the time I stopped going trick-or-treating, and Valentine's Day is just a commercialized holiday meant to make you buy stuff. It used to be known as St. Valentine's Day, but the Church doesn't even celebrate it, as we're not sure who St. Valentine even was. If you don't believe me, go into a Catholic church and take a look at Feb. 14 in a missalette. You'll find no mention of St. Valentine's Day.

The Master Teacher was probably born in June, so I'm pickin' Halloween just for the fun of it.

Obviously Christmas since it is the birthday of Jesus Christ. This is significant to me due to my Christian beliefs.

Christmas is easily my favorite, with everything else a very distant second place.

I choose Christmas. Although Halloween comes in a very close second. Valentine's day means very little to me. Christmas wins because it is the only holiday that the whole family can be there to celebrate together.

Halloween! When else can you dress up and be an a** scaring and pranking people and get away with it.

I can only wear my Jedi costume for one of these days...

Christmas or Halloween. Christmas is a time for family, friends, good food, liquor, sentimentality, and I always feel a little happier at that time of year.
Halloween is a load of fun, either as a kid or an adult.
Valentines day is a manufactured holiday, in which greeting card companies, florists, restaurants, lingerie makes and jewellers work hard to convince men that they can get laid this one day if they spend enough money.

Halloween is a great party for young and old. I still like to pull together a costume and go out. Completely festive, kids are cranked up on excitement and sugar and its the end of the fall/harvest season here. One good blow out and then we hunker down and get ready for the snow. Christmas has nicely evolved into a good time to connect with family friends and neighbours. Fortunately I'm past the worst of the blood sucking commercialization of it at this stage of my life. It's lots of drinks and great food, and little if any angst and gripping about obligations and gifts. Valentines Day is a scam perpetrated by the greeting card and confectionary industry. The restaurants are cohorts. If this is the limit of your romantic life, then you are going to suffer through a long cold 364 days until the next time you feel compelled to make a decent gesture to your loved one.

Christmas is the one time I know everone in my Family gets together, yeah it's crowded. stressful at times and every year my mom says next year we will go out to eat and draw names for presents..but the next year will come up and we do the same routine.

Me and Christmas have this love and hate relationship. I like how it brings the family together, but at the same time I loath the idea of spending lots of money on gifts. Aside from that, it is a more meaningful holiday to me compared to the other two.
ILikePie 05/26/2008
Now, I'd pick Valentine's Day, but it's over-commercialised garbage whose once great and special meaning has been completely and utterly sapped by consumerism.Oh wait...
Bird808 11/24/2006
There's no question about it here Christmas. What other holiday do you have time off work, spend a special time with your family and friends, everywhere you turn places like clubs and bars are celebrating, have an excuse to eat excessive amounts of good food and get loads of presents?

I love the Christmas spirit; all the hype excites me and living where there is abundant snow at this time gives a nice cozy feeling to be inside with family and friends.

Christmas, because it symbolizes the birth of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.
LastMessenger3 11/18/2006
Christmas - family, relatives, loved ones, friends - all of them around me that day. Plus the warmth and spirit of this magical holiday.
trebon1038 01/21/2006
Christmas for the meaning of the holiday and the music...but Halloween is the most fun!
GenghisTheHun 12/23/2005
Christmas is the great Christian holiday. I love the churches decorated and the great choirs booming out the great hymns and carols. I try to get to the highest church possible with the incense and the whole ritual. I hate the attempt to make everything low church and get rid of all the traditions and trappings of the last 2000 years. I guess the Judaizers can celebrate Hannukkah and the other Jewish holidays. We got away from that with the new dispensation.

HALLOWEEN- hands down.Lot's of fun for everyone without the stress of Christmas or the let down of Valentines Day for the unattached or lonely folks.

Christmas is my choice no question!

Christmas ! Halloween and Valentine's Day are not Holidays ! Here's a better range. Pick one: 1) Christmas 2) Thanksgiving 3) The Fourth of July Christmas wins again !
ClassicTVFan47 12/21/2005
Christmas. Just the best. You've got time off, awesome deocrations, family togetherness, presents, the legend of Santa Claus, chances for snow, upbeat Christmas tunage and much more!!
kamylienne 12/21/2005
My absolute favorite is Thanksgiving still, but out of the three presented choices, I'll go with Halloween; too much stress and emphasis on getting gifts is placed on Christmas, and I think Valentine's Day is just a "Hallmark holiday" (yeah, I know, I'm not exactly the romantic type); Halloween's just good fun; it's fun for kids, and it's nice to see their faces light up just for a little candy.
