I would give them a zero if I could.

I'm not being paid by anyone to say that intelliflix sucks hard.

Only got older movies and then got nothing with over 100 in my queue. Most movies I added immediately went into the long wait queue.. to sum it up in one word "ghey"

Please put a '0' in the ratings drop down box. I used to be an employee of Intelliflix worked from India.Danny, Chris, Debra have no values for their employees so how can they be good to the customers who incase try to use their services. They claim themselves to be the best DVD rental providers instead the company name should be changed from INTELLIFLIX to "CHARITY-FLIX"
Being an ex-employee of Iflix my sincere advice to everybody is "PLEASE DONT JOIN INTELLIFLIX".

Its been almost 2 months sense I got a darn movie from them and I have about 70 of them in my Q. they are horrible. it is not worth money. Another thing that is P**** me off is when you try to search for moves you get the message. "Sorry we cannot find anything in this category, may we recommend these movies" and those moves are at least two years old and have seen all of them
I would not get a service with them and thing that sucks is if you cancel your membership you're not getting your money back ( or part of it).
INELLIFLIX HAS HORRIBLE SERVICE. NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE. At least it is not for me.
to bad there is no lower rating than 1!!!!

I recently subscribed to a one year with Intelliflix. They were very slow in sending my initial three DVD's. I finally got three older titles(which were near the bottom of my queue), but it took two e-mail inquiries on my part. Two of the three were scratched so they couldn't be watched. Enough was enough! I wanted a refund. They refused. Stay tuned.

Billed twice for the first year, which they did correct. Service in 2006 was overall pretty good. But then everything changed. I was overcharged for the 2nd year (never corrected by Intelliflix) and the delivery of DVDs has been much much slower. My plan is for 3 movies at a time, but most often I have zero movies in my possession due to very S-L-O-W delivery on their part.

HOW TO GET A REFUND

I finally got Intelliflix to agree to a reasonable refund. I say agree, since I have yet to see the amount post back to my credit card.

THAT IS THE ONLY REASON I'M GIVING 3 STARS. As a company, I'm impressed that they may be trying to make it work, but I won't use them and wouldn't recommend them. Read on for details on how I got my refund.

Not sure which one of these finally got the job done, but I'll list them all. Please read in the entirety for details on how to get a refund.

1. Submitted many many support tickets.

2. Sent email to Eileen at this address: eileen@intelliflix.com
Found this email address on a site similar to this one. That post appeared to be written by an Intelliflix representative, and promised that issues sent directly to her would be resolved.

3. Called this number: 1-561-697-8325. Tried extensions #1011 and left voicemails on all. details below.

Number 1 I tried from day one, and as many of you know the support system is quite frustrating. Max 500 characters, and can't submit a new ticket until they close the first. I got in the habit of submitting a new one within a few hours of the last being closed. I got creative, and my tickets ranged from ranting about "liars, cheats, and thieves", to abject pleading, to random vulgarities. ALWAYS I asked the account to be cancelled and refunded. ALWAYS the same response. "NO REFUNDS, your titles are being shipped." They obviously weren't. The queue was packed, as was the waiting area, and no movies were even marked as being shipped for about a month.

Number 2, Eileen's email address, was posted on a site like this one, wish I could remember which. Anyway, the email address was spelled wrong, I guess, since intelliflix.com was misspelled and the emails kept coming back. I finally noticed and tried the correct spelling. The emails stopped coming back 'undeliverable', but I also never got a response for several weeks. NEVER got an email response, BUT...

Number 3. Found the phone number above, on this site I think. I tried it and received a voice recording saying "... all customer inquiries are handled online. If you know your party's extension... or Press 1010 to leave a message." I left one but without much hope. Frustrated I called back several times and tried random extension numbers, always getting a message that it was an invalid number UNTIL...

I remembered extension #1010 above, so I tried #1011, got a voice prompt and left a message. I repeated this for 8 or 9 extensions, always increasing the ext # by one. Again, I got creative. Some messages were pleading, some threatening, and some quite humorous. At one point, I remembered Eileen's name, said I was calling for her, and always left my number.

THAT SAME DAY, I got a call from Eileen, she said she had reviewed my account, apologized for the inconvenience, and claimed to have issued a partial refund. I have yet to see it, but I did get an email stating the same. And I saved the number from which she called.

THAT NUMBER IS 1-561-584-9002

As I said, not sure which straw may have broken the camel's back, but I encourage you all to get your money back if you can. It's a long road, but for me the refund was $142 out of the initial $175 and well worth it.

This so-called DVD rental is a waste of time. They imply that they will send you three movies at a time. But you will be lucky to get eight DVD movies per month. Almost all the movies sent will be foreign (if you put them on queue, or older films – never any new movies. If you are lucky to get a newer movie, is will be scratched. I bought a newer DVD player, just to play their scratched, DVD’s that will not play in an older DVD player. Lately, as of  (September, 2007) they have stopped sending me movies altogether. I think they are going out of business BEWARE!

Worst experience EVER. The first few months were ok, but have now waited anywhere from 2 weeks to a month to receive a DVD after they have received a return. Not even getting replies to my concerns now... I have 50 titles in my queue and am told that 42 of them are "high demand". Mind you, these titles include everything from new releases to classics to films out a few years to documentaries... ugh,

Intelliflix sucks. At first I got movies almost as fast as Netflix. Now it has been over a month since my last return and they've yet to ship me a new title. I've complained twice. So far they've "compensated" me by adding another month to my subscription.

SCREW THEM!

I'm going back to driving to Blockbuster for movies.

I only gave them one star as the system won't accept ZERO!!!

DON'T DO IT! There is no value for money with this company! We've been with them almost a year (paid for a year in advance, 3 DVD at a time plan). Until a couple of months ago, it took them an average of 8 business days, from the time we post a return DVD until the time we have a replacement in our mailbox. If you watch your DVDs on weekends, you can only average 2 DVDs every second weekend, with 1 DVD on other weekends for a 3 at a time plan. You will only ever get the old movies in your queue (if you want new releases you'll be waiting a loooong time). We just took a Netflix trail (4 disc at a time plan). We canceled within the 2 week trial period, as our Intelliflix subscription is still paid in advance for another month or so. When we put a Netflix DVD in the mailbox, we received replacement discs the NEXT day about 65% of the time, and the following day the remainder of the time. With us sending each DVD back the day after we received them (our aim was to test their system as opposed to watching their movies for 2 weeks), we were able to receive 2.4 DVDs per week, per 'disc at a time'. Ie, on a 3 disc plan, we would have got 7.2 DVDs per week. The net result is that you receive more DVD viewing from a Netflix 1 disc at a time plan than you do from a Intelliflix 3 disc at a time plan!

We also only added 5 titles to our queue with Netflix to start with, to see how they would cope. The titles were all high demand new releases, that Intelliflix probably would not get to us until some time in 2008! The next day, Netflix had shipped our full entitlement of 4 of the 5 titles. If you want choice in your viewing, you'll do much better with Netflix than Intelliflix!

I mentioned that Intelliflix averaged 8 day turn around until a couple of months ago ... we have now received 3 DVDs from them in the last 3 weeks. Almost the entire 3 weeks, our Intelliflix account has indicated NO DVDs assigned, otherwise 1 DVD assigned. There are no excuses, we have about 70 titles in our queue! They aren't responding to complaints, or you get the same cut-and-paste response that shows they haven't even read your complaint.

In summary - go to Intelliflix if you like a) only receiving the older or B grade movies you've added to your account; b) the frustration of flippant responses to your complaints; c) no value for money!

If you like choice in the movies you view and good turn around times (and therefore value for money) then I suggest trying one of the other companies - perhaps Blockbuster (which I have not tried), or Netflix - I have tried them and I'm confident that they are not only better, but cheaper - you can get more viewing from a more basic plan!

It is also interesting to see that EileenF has the time to post below. Intelliflix claim that you can contact the CEO directly with your complaints. Every time I have tried that, I got no response from the CEO, but Eileen saying 'Mr Carrao has directed me to respond ...' Yeah, real access to the CEO! Eileen has stopped responding recently though - perhaps she's too overwhelmed with complaints.

I've being with intelliflix for more them a year and I'm with them until now because is cheaper, but I will move to another as soon the contract expire. My complaint: those 60.000 movies they have, is just names of movies in a database.They don't really have them. I queued 111 movies and 93 was sent to "Queue Waiting Area" because they don't have it, and 18 is ok to be shipped. But they never shipped movies I moved to the top. So no reason to put them in order. I signed for 3 at a time, but lately they are shipping only one at a time for long time. Complained 4 times, they promise to fix the problem,and still can't have 3 movies at a time. Minor complaint are that they sent cut DVD, different tittle inside sleeve, same DVD shipped 3 times. Like politicians, they never answer your question directly, but in a vague way, that you wonder if they really read you question

HORRIBLE SERVICE! THEIR SELECTIONS ARE OUT-OF-DATE! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE... THE TIME IT TAKES TO RECEIVE ANY DVD IS ABOUT 3-5 DAYS. SO WHAT'S THE POINT? I RATHER PAY $1 EXTRA A MONTH AND GET SPEEDY QUICK SERVICE WITH NEW DVD RELEASES IN STOCK WITH NETFLIX OR BLOCKBUSTER! From lousy delivery times, to their shipping of damaged discs, to their lack of customer service, all the way down to their inability to notify me that discs have been returned (the last ones via USPS Delivery Confirmation), and their unwillingness to process my refund, which has led me to seek action against Intelliflix with the BBB and the Florida Attorney General, it's a shame that I have to give them one whole star. Their suggested slogan: "Intelliflix: We'll Value Your Patronage Until We Get Your Money!"

"oioi" just posted the exact same crap on my blog. AVOID INTELLIFLIX AT ALL COSTS. Slow delivery, unresponsive customer service, and that giant "CANCEL ANYTIME" badge they have on their signup page is a flat-out lie; once you sign that annual contract, you're locked in. I was only able to get out of my two-at-a-time plan and get a partial refund (after Intelliflix deducted $21.15 per month) after contacting my state's Attorney General. I suggest everyone else with a complaint do the same.

Intelliflix was investigated by the Florida Attorney General and found not guilty of the 3 charges against them or by any of the complaints issued to the Florida BBB. Call them Toll Free: 1-866-966-7226 I think people are profiting by posting negitve comments and directing people to netflix. DVDRR.com is based in the United Kingdom and neither my friend or myself could post to the site. I joined this company also.. The movies came in slow.. In one year I never got a new release. I did notice that the first 2 months they treated me very well. But after I go nothing but like one movie a month. NetFix much better company to deal with.

In October of 2006, my year's subscription with Intelliflix was up (I had paid $109 for the first year, and did not want to renew since the service was poor, but adequate.) They charged my credit card WITHOUT my authorization and even though I have not used their service since October, they WILL NOT refund my second $109.
I have emailed them 22 times and have NO response. I would like to know what I can do since they have no phone number to get my money back. Any ideas?

Update: just sent ANOTHER cancellation request directly to Eileen from intelliflix, who posted below saying how great the company really is...and the e-mail address she gives came back as "undeliverable" TYPICAL OF INTELLIFLIX so-called "service. 0 ZERO stars; actually more like -0 Worst service imaginable. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I made the mistake of signing up for a whole year. I have never gotten anything remotely new from them. If I wanted to only get movies 5 or more years old, I can get those for $1 at a local video store. Repeated cancelation requests totally ignored.

Avoid this company like the plague!!! Don't ignore all the neg reviews like I did. I thought I would give them a chance in spite of what I read...big mistake. It is no exageration...this company is the worst. They should be put out of business for all the horrible experiences they cause their customers. This company is NOT about customer satisfaction (like president Mr. Carrao claims), but all about the money. Once they have it, good luck getting it back! I joined in July of 2006, I received movies about once every two weeks, pathetic! Cancelled 5 months later. I remembered reading all the reviews that stated Intelliflix ignored and delayed their cancellation request for so long that they ended up having to pay for additional months worth of membership after they cancelled. So, to prevent this from happening to me, I explicitly specified in my cancellation notice..."Do not send 2nd chance offer...my answer is no thank you...I will not be responsible for any additional charges past my cancellation notice date." Intelliflix response: Ignored my cancellation request and asked me for a second chance! I sent a 2nd cancel/refund request. Intelliflix response: Still completely failed to even acknowledge my cancel request AND informed me that the next available titles from my queue have been processed to be shipped! At this point, Intelliflix is DELIBERATELY keeping me on as an involuntary member and purposefully failing to comply to my express and repeated requests to cancel. To counteract this, I had to remove all my selections to prevent them from sending me unwanted movies on a now unsolicited account. From here it took a letter to the president (who claims he is concerned with customer satisfaction) he forwarded my email to a customer service rep, who is the 1st person to finally acknowledge my request, yet STILL sends me a second chance offer for a free 21 days of membership!!! She writes: "Let me know what you would like to do." So as if I haven't made it clear enough from my previous 4 requests I send yet a 5th one! Intelliflix response: NONE! So I send my 5th request a second time. After SIX requests and 28 days later, they finally give in to my cancellation! There is a reason they do not list a phone number...Um, red flag? I did receive a refund (minus a $10 early termination fee mind you...what nerve). I filed a complaint with the BBB. They are NOT a member of the BBB yet they have received 377 complaints since Nov 2004. Intelliflix has an 'unsatisfactory record' with the BBB according to customer experience. i regret joining intelliflix on their one year plan. i've only once received the top item on my queue in 9 months and I have almost no "new releases" on my list. it takes 5-7 business days for them to "receive" my dvds after I mail them back and 3-5 business days for me to get dvds from them. They've lost 4 dvds I've personally put in US mailboxes and they plan to hold me responsible for them. On top of that they've decided to stop differentiating between widescreen and full screen dvds without notifying me. So now the films I've spent time picking the widescreen version for, come to me as full screen over 50% of the time. Because of this, over November and December of 2006 I've been able to watch 2 dvds of the 8 I've received. I've sent 3 emails to customer service saying I want to make sure I don't get billed for another year, but the replies so far include only emails telling me they want to fix the situation, rationalizing the full screen dvds and reminding me that I'm responsible for the dvds they haven't received. As a point of reference, I also have netflix (for 6 years) and blockbuster by mail (for 6 months) to the same address and both those services have a turn around of 3-4 business days vs. the 8-10 with intelliflix i've mentioned above.

got our top picks, often didn't our maximum 3 dvds and
to top things off they charged our credit card for another
membership after I made great pains to decline renewal.I
followed all the right steps. They still have'nt resolved
this. Beware of this company!!!

Anyone wishing to sign up for this service should read the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Florida's rating which is "Unsatisfactory" overall. One os the worst companies I have ever dealt with.

Horrible all around. Their Superpass is no deal. First, they are SLOW! It's like about a week to get a new DVD after returning one because they ship mostly out of state. Second a lot of the disks arrive broken or scratched that they won't play. Third, the customer service is marginal. I've even tried calling them (phone number is available at the Better Business Bureau site) but that doesn't help. By the way, Intelliflix' record at the BBB speaks for itself---DO NOT do business with them!

Absolutely the worst anywhere!! They almost never send you anything new. It takes them 3-4 days to send movies after they receive returns. Some movies take 7-10 days to get to you!

Wish I had found the site before I signed up because I would never have joined if I had seen these reviews. I actually did an experiment with my Netflix account. I rented the same three movies at a time from both places. I never got my first choices from Intelliflex and always got my first three selections from Netflix. I would receive my Intelliflex movies in an average of six days and my Netflix movies in an average of about 1.5 days. In the three months that I was a customer with Intelliflex three movies were lost and now they are charging me $25 per movie to cancel my account. In four plus years only one movie was ever lost with Netflix and that was my fault, I think I lost it. Over all Intelliflix is the worst internet company that I have ever done business with, I would highly recommend avoiding this company. Although Netflix does not rent Adult movies and games you get at least twice as many movies per month as you will from Intelliflix. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Intelliflix 2

I have 49 titles in my queue and only one title out even though I have the 3-out at at time plan. There are some titles in my queue that have been there for 8 months. I paid for a year in advance so I can't just stop using them right now. I have a few more months to go. It's ridiculous that have that many movies in my queue and they can't send me anything. Oh a few movies trickle in now and then but I hardly ever have 3 out at a time. And it's very rare that they are new releases. I've e-mailed them on several occasions and they are prompt to respond but they seem to "dance around" the questions that I ask. I understand "high demand" but I guarantee you that a lot of the movies in my queue are in no way high demand and even if they were to wait 8 months to get a movie is unacceptable. On several occasions I got tired of waiting and I went to Blockbuster and rented a movie that was taking too long. I like the site and I like the price but none of that means anything if I can't get any movies. Obviously the need more inventory. I will not be paying for another year.

I have had the worst problems ever with Intelliflix just they dont ship out when they say they do the pluse is they have games but what good is it if you never get them

i signed up the service before i checked the online reviews and i deeply regreted. they are the worst rental service ever and that is why they don't give you free trial. i kept 30+ movies in my queue and they often only shipped one in my "3-out" plan and left the other two unshipped for almost a whole week, as if it is a "1-out" plan. very slow, very unresponsive, and giving nonsense explanation saying all my request items are in high demand. unacceptible in any standard. keep away from them to save youself some agony.
