Only in California. This was a great game nonetheless. The loss prevented John Elway from going to a Bowl game. It was so wacky that our local TV station ( and I'm sure others around the USA), ran the replay over and over and over again , in slo-mo even, just so people could see what happened. A similar ended amlost took place with Michigan vs Nebraska in the Alamo Bowl. I'm glad it didnt work. This was one of those once-in-a-gerenration games that deserves it's own distinction.

Even though it is in the NCAA record books has Cal winning, Stanford does not recognize the win.
