how this stance was so successful for bagwell, i just don't understand. i can't imagine a hitting coach ever saying... "spread your legs farther apart. farther... farther... now squat. like you're sitting in a chair."

Almost looked like he was sitting down when he batted. Yet with that stance he crushed over 440 homeruns! A Houston Astros record.
