If you read the book Moneyball, there's a chapter about Chad Bradford and his unusual ( yet effective) pitching style. Bradford is a sidearm/almost underhanded pitcher. He's tall, yet contorts his body like a crane throwing the ball low and having it rise upward. He gets players out and that's what ultimately matters.
