A Blackberry is a more available version of the iPhone. You can do pretty much the same things with both phone, but more phone companies carry some type of Blackberry. The phone does not hold a charge very well, which means you need to charge it at least once a day, making a car charger somewhat of a necessity.

It's called a crackberry for a reason. Using it can become so addictive that people you will be willing to sell your soul for another 10 minute "hit" of use. While its effective at the services it promises to provide like instant access to email, it slowly sucks the user's soul with each email sent until all you are left with is a mindless corporate drone.

I use a phone to call people, and a computer to email people. I don't need a blackberry.

I have friends who have one. I spend enough time online as it is. I can escape, however, by turning off the computer. With a Blackberry, you are never away.

I had a blackberry for a little while before they had telephones built into them. I remember really liking the push email and having my email inbox everywhere I went. Then I realized what a gibbering email addict I was becoming -- pulling the gizmo out at every meal and social occasion -- and so I gave it up.

I eat these all the time, but I'm pretty sure that they have been around for more than fifty years.
