I cant believe no one's rated him yet, the man who came up with one of the most riped off basslines in music history..'Good times'. Chic was the one bright light in the gloom that was 70s disco. Key to this was the combination of Edwards memorable basslines and Nile Rogers clipped rhythm guitar. Often copied, never bettered.
