A perfect actor, if you wanted someone to look stoic and rugged and laconic. Not so good if you wanted him to actually act. Apparently banged everything that stood still in Hollywood, and a few things that didn't, so I guess he's worth a second star.

This guy's acting could put me to sleep faster than a seconal cocktail. One of my least favorite actors of his era Cooper was about as sexy as somebody's grandfather. Apparently Kevin Costner attended the same bore you into a coma school of acting as well.

A wooden Indian of an actor, but obviously cinema material if only from a physical standpoint, with the sort of rugged good looks that Hollywood relished. Apparently, he wasn't the brightest bulb in Hollywood; he once testified before the House Un-American Activities Committee that he was sorry he had made "High Noon" because he wasn't aware at the time that it was actually Communist propaganda. Was considered a great ladies' man, was allegedly quite well endowed, and bedded down such diverse but beautiful actresses as Clara Bow, Marlene Dietrich, and Lupe "The Mexican Spitfire" Velez, among others.
