I'm a high school teacher in California, and let me tell you I am happy with my income. Teachers make enough, in spite of the bullpuckey the teachers' unions promulgate.

Right now I just want enough to get by. When that happens I'll fantasize about all of the crazy stuff I'd do if I was insanely rich.

I sure do wish we had more income. it can be so frustrating feeling like we just do not seem to have enough to pay for everything we need. I do not mean shopping sprees just having more so we did not have to worry so much and could do more for our kids. enough income to feel at ease with. I do not expect to be rich, just comfortable.

Well, yeah, a little extra cash flow certainly wouldn't be unwelcome. It won't make my life happier, per se, but I wouldn't mind paying off my credit card debts, either!

Money comes and money goes..it's the alimony which is constant.

While more income would be nice, I would run out of things to spend it on. No sense loading myself down with crap I'll never use, honestly. :)

I want more money! (who doesn't?)

I don't so much want to increase my income. I'm fine with that. It is my wet dream, however, to alter the manner in which I earn money so that I accumulate it in a fashion that the IRS knows nothing about it. Ah well, just a recurring fantasy that usually hits me around April 15 each year.

The one thing I've figured out about life no matter how much money I make I'll never be satisfied. I would love to be making a quarter mil a year and I truly believe that would be enough... but Im sure if I was, I'd wish to be making more. It's just a natural thing. There's always nicer cars, houses, bigger boats, better vacations, nicer watches and bigger diamonds. I can remember when I just graduated college saying "if I could just make 50k a year that would be fine by me, I could live well on that". YEAH RIGHT! LOL..particularly in the NYC area that barely will cover your housing and food expenses. Sure, the best part about becoming self sufficient is being free from financial worries on a day to day basis... like how am I eating lunch today? But you still live somewhat approximate to your means and there will be times when you over extend, or want something that you use to never even think about having, or want to invest in something for your future- these all take money... more money and more money. Which gets me to work and keeps me working... ahhh, the beauty of the free market. :-)
