I can be really self-centered and impatient a lot of the time- I really can't even think of any times that I went out of my way to accomodate what other people want me to do- I feel like I can't help it and that it's just the way I am, but I sure wish I could be more compassionate and friendly.

We probably could all be a bit nicer. Well actually in my 40 plus years i know of some who could really take some lessons in being nice. I do wish I could be more patient,more optimistic with my attitude toward others. but as i said the older I get the more nastier people I have dealt with. It is hard to be nice to someone who is rotten to you. How many times can you turn the other cheek?
