Boring + Boring = Boring

My colleague the esteemed lmorovan would point out, their pairing is an abomination against nature on a level with the recent wedding of George Takei to his long time partner.  oscargamblesfro would point out that Kirk and Lt. Uhura would be a hot pairing, but I suspect the good book would have issue with that too.

Although they were both part of a larger ensemble cast, they were both definitely the stars. Theirs was sort of a yin and yang relationship, with the two complementing each others strength and weakness'. Two distinct personalities. A pretty good pairing.

Really a great pairing. Kirk is emotional and impulsive yet innovative and daring. Spock is cool and cerebral and able to channel the Kirk impulses in the right direction.

And if you forget to include the good Doctor, you're gonna get phasered to death. :P hehe :) No, seriously, Doctor McCoy, Captain Kirk, and Mr. Spock would not be the same personas without each other to bounce off of.
