of couse embarassing. but this was my mothers answer for everything with us. spank us  no matter what the reason{ and for sometimes just about nothing} she did not mind a crowd when  we were spanked. for her it was more of a power trip of see whose the boss.  I am not saying a child should never ever get spanked but when it is just to smack them around to show whose boss. what does it really teach them?
