This guy is the Democratic Party version of Duke Cunningham...something about him makes me really nervous...like knowing there's a suitcase bomb ticking away in the building, but not knowing exactly where.

Sen. Bob Menendez has well served his home state. He is for port-security. I disagree with him on Iraq but he's better then his Republican opponent, Tom Kean JR. Tom Kean JR. is no smarter then a chipmunk and left the budget commitee in the state Senate to run for the U.S. Senate. Loose Tom, Loose.

Menendez has tons of integrity and guts.He risked his life by standing up to Organized crime, and has an outstanding record both environmentally and in protecting the rights of CIVILIANS over big business. This man is not easily corrupted like many politicians of both parties.

Robert Menendez is to be appointed by Jon Corzine to fill the vacancy that will happen when he is sworn in as Governor of New Jersey in January, 2006. He is currently the Congressman from New Jersey's 13th Congressional District. He should have a fairly easy road to re-election. He is of Cuban descent and the first minority to represent New Jersey in the U. S. Senate.
