This war was started for the oil, not to get at Osama bin Laden. There is credible evidence that after the Bush administration could not get the oil rights that they wanted from the Taliban to build the oil pipeline for Unicol, they would bomb them with a curtain of bombs. So they planned the war in Afghanistan and the 9/11 tragedy to start this war as well as the war in Iraq, all the the name of OIL. (Add picture)

	Iamopinionated (2) 01/14/2006	Now I can't stand Bush, and I'm not a fan of his wars. I don't really think the War in Afghanistan is necessary, but let's remember that unlike any Iraqi political figures, Osama Bin Laden in an interview told the world that all Americans, not just military personnel, are his enemies and that he will do whatever he can to kill us. I'd rather the CIA or special forces try to take care of him, but we know that didn't happen because an actual war causes the country to rally around the flag and support whatever leader is in charge no matter how big of a moron he may be. But all in all, the Al-Qaeda were linked with 9/11, and unlike the Iraqis, really were and still are a threat to the nation.
