UPDATE 1-Well, I've told all you that don't check your facts to visit my page and look at the facts. Any of the websites I have posted will tell you the truth, the facts but YOU, the people who keep telling me that I hate this country and keep telling me to leave, won't open your eyes and read the truth and see the truth when it's right in front of your nose. You see what the Republicans and the religious right TELL you what is the truth without basis in fact. You listen to Pat Robertson and Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly spew garbage and you listen. You have to OPEN your eyes, read the truth. It's out there. Show me where your facts are. I have all mine listed for you to read. I've read what your facts are and they are all lies that can be proven scientifically wrong. Read the TRUTH!!! You may learn a few things about it instead of the garbage that you've been listening to most of your lives. Bush lost the first election. You all know it. Rehnquist elected Bush. The second time was also a set up. Too many seniors were bullied into thinking his policies were going to work. Already this bogus prescription rip off is screwing many seniors. The budget cuts are screwing many college students. Hardly any more student loans. Major corporations who are no longer giving 401(k) s are screwing many college graduates. ALL THANKS TO BUSHY AND THE BOYS!!!!! That's the only reason he was supposedly reelected in a very small majority. It's amazing how the deficit grows. The poor are getting poorer. Health care is on the decline. Jobs are getting scarce. Excuse me, good jobs are getting scarce. You can raise a family on 7.15 an hour flipping burgers on 30 hours a week at old Mickey Ds can't ya all you right wing conservatives!!! Those of you that have disagreed with me, have you even looked at the videos or read any of the books or articles on the subject? Have you seen the facts of the case? You attack without even looking at what is right there in the open. You only see what the government is allowing you to see and telling you is right. If you look at what is on the Internet, the real footage of what happened on that day and read and listen to the tapes of the news reporters, you will hear things that were edited out from what you were told after the fact. All I ask is that you read the online book The New Pearl Harbor with an open mind. It tells the story from both sides of the coin. There are too many coincidences for it not to be true. I was not a believer either. I did not believe that he could anything like that either. I have a friend that works at the Pentagon. He was there that day. He went through a year of hell psychologically. He still has some minor problems but he goes to work every day. But I have become a student of 9/11/2001 from both sides of the issue. Since Christmas Day when I watched A DVD of the possibility that no plane hit the Pentagon and the DVD proved that none did, I have studied everything I could. I have watched just about all the network shows about 9/11 as well. The Robert DeNiro special, the Frenchmen that had the only video of the initial plane hitting tower 1 called The Fireman Video, the special on Why the Towers collapsed, both the A&E specials and the original special of the Flight 93 crash. They are ALL made up of edited video, spliced together after the fact. If you look at the before and after videos, you can see differences. But you have to look. You just cant say, I dont believe. You have to look. You have to read the truth. Give it a try instead of telling people to leave the country all the time when they dont conform to your way of thinking. I respect other peoples way of thinking. I see both sides of the coin. I dont disrespect you or tell you to leave the country because you like Bush. I dont hate the man. I just want him out of office before he ruins the country anymore than he already has.

I think dumbass did the best he could with his lack of brainpower on 9/11. If the government was stupid and didn't see it coming, then why have we kept them in office. If they were deliberate in being complacent (and I don't buy that line), then they really needed to get tossed out. As for McVeigh's truckbomb in OKC, all he needed was to knock out that third or fourth floor structural beam to take the whole building down like a house of cards. Watch some History Channel and get educated. Oh, and Michael Moore is a reactionary jerk who doesn't check his sources before publishing his slant on things. While it is good to question what Uncle Sam says, it is another thing altogether to cry conspiracy and run around like Chicken Little. Use your brain, get the facts, toss out the spin from both extreme camps, and make up your own mind. And one last note: politicians are generally good liars. Promise the moon to get into office, then reneg on it like he or she never even said it. Par for the course in our modern world.

OK, calmly, thoughtfully, reasonably. Credible evidence he "either knew about OR planned . . ." Well, which is it. Evidence is evidence. But, here's your real challenge. What would be the "formal accusation" to be deliberated and voted on by the House of Representatives? Not a court of law, the republican-controlled (for now) House. Admittedly, you'd only need a majority to impeach and send it to the Senate, but it's still a tall order. Suppose you are able to somehow garner a majority vote (for something) in the House. Now, it goes to the Senate for a trial, with John Roberts presiding. You now need a two thirds majority to convict and remove from office. Come on. Put away the pipe dream. This entire discussion is a waste of space. The idea that Bush knew about or (what's really laughable) PLANNED (!!!) the attack is so preposterous only 1% of the entire American pollity (that lovable lunatic, liberal fringe) even considers it a remote possibility. People who have lived their entire lives under oppressive dictatorships and constant propaganda are rolling their eyes saying, "Come on!! " The only people who believe this are that fringe group who want it to be true. If it weren't for this, they'd be clamoring for impeachment based on his mis-handling of the Iraq War (oh, wait, they are) or the War in Afghanistan, or his approval of the eavesdropping on American citizens communicating with al Qaeda operatives while we are at war. Let me get this straight, FDR was a great man and a great president, but Bush needs to be impeached.

I actually had a near fight with someone over this exact argument. My position: if you honestly think the President of our country knowingly allowed an attack on civilians on our soil, what kind of chickens*** does that make you for still living here? If I honestly thought that my country's top official was capable of this, I'd be on the next flight for mexico/europe/australia.

There is not one shred of non-fictional evidence to even begin to suggest beyond the most wild and outright stupid nut-job political conspiracy theory that Bush let 9/11 happen. Any intelligence breakdown leading to 9/11 would have primarily occured during the Clinton years and under what was left of Clinton's policies afterwards. I don't blame 9/11 on Clinton either, so don't blame it on Bush. It was a result of exteremist Islam acting at its least peaceful. Let me guess, FDR let Japan bomb Pearl Harbor too! He wanted to get into a war that had been devastating Europe and the Pacific... so badly that he was willing to let someone destroying his navy to do it. BS! I'm tired of this utter crap, and especially tired that it EVER gets repeated.

I'll admit that I'm not sure whether 5 stars means I agree that Bush should be impeached for handling 9/11 very poorly or if I'm saying that Bush handled it well. I'll assume that 5 stars means I agree he should be impeached. Now of course nothing is entirely his fault, but he certainly deserves some of the blame. 11 countries handed the US intelligence reports saying that an attack is coming, other government officials repeatedly sent warnings, but Bush ignored them either so he could take even more vacations or exploited this attack for a variety of reasons including a reason to invade the Middle East and to get elected. So thank you, President Bush, for doing a horrible job preventing and following up an attack that killed over 3,000 Americans.

I'm kinda with daedalus on this one.

I am no fan of Bush, in fact I hate Bush. There I said it. You won't get a similar admission about Clinton from some conservatives on this site, despite their frequent attacks. However, I find it very hard to believe that he could justify killing thousands of Americans for the promise of financial gain. His righteous veneer is about as hard to see through as an optic lense, but still, intentionally massacring his fellow citizens is just too much. Two stars only because I am a little concerned about the way the Saudi royals were ushered out of the country immediately after the attacks. Surely, if it was meant for their protection the FBI or Secret Service could have handled that at least until questioning was completed.

Not only that but a tired, worn out, bs mantra repeated ad nauseum, beaten horse to death joke of a list.

I just watched Fahrenheit 911, again, about three days ago. All the evidence that Moore posits on this issue is lame and wouldn't stand any kind of cross-examination.
