I totally agree. With all the slang, the text lingo, kids nowadays, truly can't spell to save their lives. I am not trying to be biased, or old fashioned, but when my seven year old thinks that girls is spelled with a "z" there is something wrong. And not to mention, that if kids would spend half as much time on their school work, as they do online, promoting there bodies for all to see, just so a bunch of strange men will want to befriend them........ that teaches are children that sex IS ok...... and then people wonder why young girls are meeting people from online, then disappearing. Where is the common sense???The internet has become quite the resourceful tool, however, it still needs to be used in some moderation. Who knows who is out there, or what is out there. Can't trust ANYONE!!

Well, if that's the point they're making, they're being damn effective at it.

It sure is pathetic to read some of the writings of people who ostensibly had an education here.

This would be a pet-peeve of mine, hence why I rated it so highly. I cannot stand chat-speak. When someone begins and ends a conversation without using a single punctuation mark, I want to scream. It doesn't matter to context of their conversation (it could be a debate on abortion or some other controversial issue), if they cannot seem even remotely mature or intelligent; I will not listen or debate with them further. Who wants to carry on a conversation on important issues, with a girl/guy who speak like this: "i dun kno wat u b talkin bout cuz i get good gradez and peoplez alwayz b callin me smart so don b callin me stupid! ur jus mad cause i kno more about it dan u do, so ha!"
