This is not just a jewish feast. It has new testament meaning as well. It reminds us that we are in temporary tabernacles and that someday we will be spirit beings. It's a great time of rejoicing and learning and fellowship. There's prophecy of all the world keeping it after the return of Jesus Christ. Zech. 14.
