World at War 4

A very good PBS series about World War II that came out during the 1970s. Lots of incredible footage, and providing a very detailed chronology of the war. Some of the later documentaries have the advantage of footage and uncovered information that wasn't available to these filmmakers, but it is still probably the best comprehensive documentary on the war. Available on DVD I hear.
