Ken Burns really pulled out all the stops making this series.Magnificent old footage,tasty interviews and some truly great music kept me glued to the set night after night. (a real feat,as I'm a far cry from a "couch potato")Very informative,entertaining and classy.

Great series about "black classical music." Really became impressed with Winton Marsalis' as the result of his interviews.
