The Buffs may have caught lightning in a bottle in Dan Hawkins, but they also lose a lot of personnel on both sides of the ball, including TE Joey Klopfenstine, P Johnny Torp, QB Joel Klatt and back Lawrence Vickers, just to name a few. Fortunately K Mason Crosby is still with the team, and gives them a badly-needed advantage over superior foes. Winning an average North is a realistic goal, but there are no easy outs on the schedule.
