He's great, a former general who probably knows what's going on with the military and in Iraq than the George Bushes, Ann Coulter's etcetera. He would be too good a president, and the special interest groups won't allow that.

Not a bad guy, but Not Ready For Prime Time either, if his 2004 run is any indication. While I'm dubious about military candidates in general, there is an interesting precedent here. Ike won in 52' largely thanks to the unpopularity of the Korean War ('I will go to Korea'). Likewise, Clark-as the only Democratic candidate with military experience-might pick up some traction for the nomination if American soldiers are still in Iraq in 2008.

Clark could provide the leadership this country needs, and had the military knowledge and experience to make wise choices unlike the current administration. Clark is also focused on truly important issues such as social welfare both domestic and overseas (Darfur). Clark in '08 for the good of the country and the world.

I'd have no problem supporting him in principle, but unfortunately he isn't the best campaigner.

Clark should run for another office, possibly Governor or Senator, before making another national run. He has the credentials for high office, but a little bit of experience in politics might make him a stronger candidate for office. Another problem with an '08 run for Clark is his lack of name ID, which was also a problem 2 years ago.

Wesley Clark, who supports veritable liberal precedents such as abortion rights and social welfare programs while maintaing a flawless national security record, is the perfect left-leaning Democratic moderate for this country, and I would support him to the end.
