Driving east on I-90 from Seattle you approach this little bedroom community at the base of Mount Si and the mountains ascend as this is where Snoqualmie pass starts in the Cascade Range. Snoqualmie falls is near by, and Twin Falls state park just outside of town up the freeway has some awesome hiking. Beautiful area.
