The weather, however, is dank and gloomy, and much of the charm of the the city is lost by a hellish network of freeways.

 | AJNM (2) 03/23/2007 | Not going to go into as much detail as I did in the North American cities about the Emerald City but Seattle is truly a global city and on the cusp of becoming a world class city. In arguably the best natural setting than any city in North America Seattle combines nature with a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The city is constantly reinventing itself for the better and is cutting edge and creative in all aspects of living.

 | Drummond (60) 01/22/2006 | If I were to live in a major city, Seattle would be my second choice after San Francisco. Weather aside, the cities have much in common. My favorite hangout is the university district.
