Spokane is a welcome sight after driving through the nothingness that is Eastern Washington. Nothing special... just a workaday city, it's got a downtown with some archetectural interest and a nice Riverfront park.. but otherwise it's pretty boring. Good things are it's location close to the lakes in Northern Idaho and scenic Pend Oreille county.
