01/24/2006 | The approach to Yakima is beautiful and dramatic as you come over Snoqualmie Pass the scenery changes drasticly from the desnsely forested and green woodlands of western Washimgton into the treeless and arid landscape of Eastern Washington then over to I-82 up through the deserted mountains and canyons, then you arrive into Yakima and it looks like the 3rd moon of hell.
