Volvo has not done a redesign for a long time. Designs are kind of gettng stale.

Swedish Fords, unfortunatly the auto side of Volvo was purchased by Ford a few years ago and not most Volvos look like Fords. They used to be expensive to own and maintain but now that the have been assimilated by Ford the parts may be interchangeable, I am guessing.

Made safety an industry. Invented the seatbelt, airbag, and collapsable engine.
