If the Dolphins fill some important "need" positions in the off-season, I anticipate that they can potentially be among one of the top 5 teams in the NFL. In 2005, the team had one of their best drafts in a long time. The new coaching headed by Nick Saban has been very effective at turning this team around; their 6 game winning streak at the end of the season in particular established them as one of the hottest teams in the league, despite the fact that they couldn't get into the playoffs. That said, the Dolphins need to fill the following positions: 1. Cornerback 2. Offensive Line- especially on left tackle 3. A Quarterback (possible 2, a veteran like Drew Brees which will be an instant upgrade along with a young QB taken at the draft which can be trained as the QB of the future. 4. An extra wide receiver, possibly another playmaker to take pressure off Chris Chambers and Randy McMichael.

Vanderbilt QB Jay Cutler would be ideal for the Dolphins. I would also consider signing Terrell Owens for whomever is QB in Miami.

Another team in need of a QB. Omar Jacobs would be good.
