His name is Indiana, named after her brothers character Indiana Jones and August for River's birth month, I think its cute.

Their child was named after the character Indiana Jones, which Summer's late brother (River Phoenix) played as a young teen, the name is a homeage to him

they didn't name the baby after the state - its her brother's character from his last movie before he died! He played the young Indiana Jones in the 3rd movie. I think its cute, but that's just me

Hey Zuchinibut. Indiana was named after Summer's brother's (River Phoenix) role as Indiana Jones. There's nothing wrong with naming a child in memory of someone.
