What's next? Cherry? Orange? Banana? Grape?

they dont think of the future they just think of right there and then....When she grows up she'll be telling her mom, why do i have a different name like Apple, when my brother has a normal name like Moses...poor kids!

i think she's going for a fruit salad.  Peaches, Nectarine, and Berries are next.  They named her Apples because it sounded sweet, yeah, well so does sugar.

  I think it's a cute name, there are people out there called Peaches or Rose and when those names were first used I'm sure people thought they were weird.

I get it...you are artists and have to be different. But Apple? It sounds like you just looked around your kitchen after going into labor and decided on a name...put some more thought into it please.

I can't figure out why some celebrities decide on these names. Maybe it's to draw attention to their own career, but that doesn't seem fair to little Apple who had no say in the matter. Maybe they want their child, who is born rich and famous, to be able to develop a strong character and sense of humor when other kids ridicule the name. Or maybe just like odd names, who knows.

Perhaps she had a craving.

There's nothing wrong with Apple as a name. Our 5 year old border collie is named Apple. Althought the poor thing seems to have developed a bit of a complex about having a human name ever since that celebrity kid came along.

And Gwyneth's got a second one on the way. Everybody wants to know, will it be a Banana or a Grapefruit?
