This isn't a company, its a friggin' cult. The few folks I know who have got involved in it look like they could use several months of heavy duty de-programming.

AMWAY IS NOT FOR STUPID OR LAZY PEOPLE 

They try to make you think that you'll make lots of money, when in actuality, there's very few that ever make any money. They definitely are a pyramid scam.

Pyramid scheme that denies it's a pyramid scheme. I've got in-law cousins into this and they are supremely annoying. Their favorite question: "If there were two pizza parlors on the same block and a family member owned one, which would you patronize?" My answer: "Well, if the non-family parlor makes better pizza, I'd probably by a token slice from the family place on occassion, and order by delivery in secret from the other hoping that no family member sees the delivery kid coming to my door."
