An incredibly well-done series about a woman who makes it to lieutenant and runs a homicide office in London, with less than enthusiatic support from the men around her who feel that she was an affirmative action promotee. All the best elements of mysteries, emphasizing the brains and psychology of the good guys and bad guys, rather than shoot-outs, car chases, and yelling and screaming.
