John Sayles film about woman who leaves a marriage with a philandering husband and discovers the real nature of her sexuality. Women I've spoken to had a hard time believing that the film was made by a man (probably with lots of feminine consultation), but the film has some elements aside from the romance. Quite revolutionary in sexual politics even for the time.
