A friend once told me that my hair--yeah, alright, when I HAD some it was abundant--upon waking up after a night of tossing 'n turning, looked like I combed it with a firecracker. Yep.

don't we all have bad hair days? mine looks crummy today. all that wind outside,it looks awful. good expression, and pretty accurate, when one's hair is looking awful. just call it "bad"
