Today is November 6 and on this date in history, in 1861, Jefferson Davis was elected President of the Confederate States of America. Whatever your view is on JD, you must admit that he was a remarkable person in history.

JD was a good president but some things he could have done better. But his name will live in infamy as I live in Jeff Davis County GA.
