This is a hard one to understand, but I've known people who had this as either the main theme or 'sub-plot' of dreams. I've even heard references to it on sitcoms. Having your teeth fall out is apparently a common subconscious fear.

What dream wouldn't involve teeth? Our grandparents?

Never, my nightmares tend to revolve around gore, ghosts, spiders, and stuff like that. I pray to God actor Ned Beatty doesn't have these...

I've had a few dreams of my teeth coming out with my braces, too, but those were mostly a long time ago.

I've actually had this dream quite a few times; I wake up (thinking that it's real) and start counting my teeth, ha! I looked into it once and found that it usually has to do with (according to dreammoods.com as related to my own life), "Teeth are used to bite, tear, chew and gnaw. In this regard, teeth represent power. And the loss of teeth in your dream may be from a sense of powerlessness in some aspect of your life." I haven't had the dream in nearly a year now; which is around the time I started looking at my life differently, and trying to change the aspects of it which made me miserable (i.e not having a job or being in school---which made me feel like a failure). I put high pride in school and work, I have episodes of depression if I don't have at least one of those things in my ever day life.

I had a dream where my braces fell off and all of my teeth fell out.

I used to dream about my teeth falling out.
