I know Buddists are non-violent, and protesting against a war is fine, but damn! Heck of a way to get your point across!

I know he meant well and I'm sure it was a catharsis for him - albeit a final one.  However, I can only see this as literal "overkill".  If his death ala flambeau had stopped war entirely then it might have made some sense.  Yet, here it is 2007 and the war machine is plugging along.  The photo is creepy but, it doesn't convince me of anything except that it can sometimes be kind of pointless to use a bazooka when a flyswatter would have done pretty much the same thing.
